Pre Cleanse Mucus Elimination Diet


Mucus can build up in the body if a person eats certain foods and has a sedentary lifestyle. 
 
If the mucus accumulates, it may over time harden which will then result in a slowing of  circulation within the body. 
 
A strong circulation and metabolism is critical to maintaining good health.
 
PRE-CLEANSE MUCUS – ELIMINATION DIET
 
This diet helps to thin and dislodge mucus. 

Do this diet for  3 to 5 days before starting a longer term diet, cleanse or body detox.
 
METHOD:
 
Freshly squeeze lemon into 1 quart glass jar.
 
Fill jar with filtered water.
 
Add 1 teaspoon raw honey.
 
Add pinch of cayenne pepper.
 
Make 8 to 12 glasses each morning & continue
to drink throughout the day. 
 
Drink 4 glasses a day & drink them throughout the day.
 
Also drink water and herbal tea throughout the day. 

Best teas to drink are – eucalyptus, ginger, licorice, peppermint, spearmint. 
 
These have mucus-removing properties and can be mixed in equal proportions for a tea that should be consumed 5 times a day.  More if you like.
Also include potassium-rich broth throughout the day. 
 
Simmer 1 cup each of chopped celery, carrots, beets, onions, parsley, kale, parsnips, 4 cloves of garlic in 2 quarts of filtered water for 45 minutes. 
 
Add sea salt.  Strain stock.  Store in fridge.
